We've had a great week learning about Lunar New Year and being involved in various activities. The Lion Dance performance was incredible! We also did great at reading our poems at our Poetry Cafe this week too!
Here are some helpful reminders for the upcoming week.
1) Grade 2 Trip will be rescheduled. Date to be determined still. As soon as I know, I will inform you.
2) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle
3) Tuesday is our 100th day of school! We will be engaging all day in activities around 100! It is going to be so much fun!
4) Valentine's Day is Thursday. Last week I sent home a February newsletter which had all the children's names on it and various teachers who teach us too. If you need another one, please let me know. Please do not send in any treats to share that day with others.
5) Popcorn will be sold Tuesday/Thursday for $1
6) Library will be on Wednesday, Day 1 of our cycle.
7) Carnaval Kick Off is on Friday next week. Keep posted for some fun activities the following week.
8) Please dress your child appropriately for outdoor weather. We are outside weather permitting.
