Our last week of school!

 

Happy Father's Day to all our dads on Sunday! We wrote a book about you too!

School dismissal time on Thursday, June 25, 2026, is 12:40 pm. Please note that buses will depart at this time, so please make sure you are able to pick up your child from the bus on time accordingly. Also, daycare will still be operating. All walkers need to be picked up at Door C at 12:40 pm.

Thank you for all who came out to support us at the Splash Pad today. We had so much fun, and we really appreciated the yummy treats too! Thank you, parents!

Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.

1) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle.

2) We do not need to bring anything to school anymore; all sent-home notebooks/folders can be kept at home.

3) 

There are no more hot lunch programs this week. Please make sure your child has a lunch.

Our week for June 15-19, 2026

 

We are going to the Splash Pad on Friday, June 19, from 2 to 3 pm.  Please refer to the note that was sent out via EDSBY and their agendas last week.  All are welcome!  

Grade Two trip to the VORC is on Monday, June 15.  Please refer to the note that was sent home last week and on Edsby too!  Students must be on time on Monday and dressed appropriately for being outside.  We need lunch for the day.  All bought lunches will be available upon return.

Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.

1) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle.

2) All library books are due back.  We have no more book exchanges.

3) We have one more week of MWW words!  Their worksheet is due back by Friday.

4) We went home with our Assessment Folder.  All work and the folder can be kept at home now.

I will be sending work and booklets home periodically, and all our work/folders can be kept at home now.

5) We did not do a Friday letter today as we had our assembly.

Our week for June 8-12, 2026

 

Our Recognition assembly is on Friday June 12 at 11:20 am.  Those getting an award have already been notified with an invite in their child's agenda.

Friday is Jump Rope for Heart.  We will be participating in activities outside in the afternoon, weather permitting.  Please make sure your child is dressed to be outside and has a hat/sunscreen too!
