Hello Grade One Families:
This week we will be celebrating Valentine's Day and 100th's Day too! Please wear, red, white or pink on Tuesday. If you are sending Valentine treats for others, please make sure they are peanut free. We will continue to learn about important people around Black History too! We are learning to show kindness and empathy to others, even if no one is watching.
Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.
1) Monday is Day 3 of our cycle. (Monday and Tuesday are Gym days)
2) Our MWW words for Week #13 are: sight words and 'ut' family words

Our worksheet is due back by Friday each week when given out.
3) Our Friday Letter went home. We are learning to do a Recount of our week independently. We are encouraged to THINK IT, SAY IT, WRITE IT and RE-READ to make sense.
4) Our Assessment Folders went home too. Please look at all our amazing work! Everything can be kept at home. Please return the red assessment folder back to school on Monday.
5) Library will be on Friday Day 1.
