Hello Grade One Families:
Pink Shirt Day is February 22, 2023.
Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. It has since been recognized annually worldwide as a day to stand against bullying.
We will be learning how to stand up to bullying and doing activities based on kindness.
Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.
1) There will be no MWW words this week. :)
2) Tuesday is Day 3 of our cycle.
3) There will be no Library exchange next week. Day 2 is on Monday February 27.
4) Report cards will be distributed electronically through your child's gapps account.
