We had a great first week of Grade One. We learned about rules and routines. It may seem overwhelming right now, but soon routines will set in. We also met our new teachers and new friends. Today I sent home our Timetable. We work on a 5 Day Cycle. Not Monday to Friday. I will always update on the blog for you what day of the cycle it will be on Monday. Also read the AGENDA every night to keep you updated on any events or reminders for Library books etc.
Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.
1) Monday is Day 5 of our cycle and we'll be going to the Library
2) Please make sure you have signed and sent in the Book of Forms, Verification Form, Gym note and $5 for an agenda by Monday, September 9. Agendas are an essential part of our communication this year.
3) We wrote our Friday Letter today in class. Please make sure to read with your child and return on Monday.
4) Save the date: Our annual Terry Fox Walk is on Thursday, September 26. More to follow.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or ask. Have a wonderful weekend with your children.
