Our last week of school June 27-30

 Hello Families:

Please note that our final day of school is Thursday June 30 @12:10pm.  Please pick up your child at the Primary doors at 12:10pm promptly.  All busses will be departing shortly after 12:10pm as well.  If your child attends daycare, daycare will be starting at 12:10pm as well.  

Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.

1) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle.  

2) Please dress appropriately Day 4 and Day 5 so we can go play at the park for our Gym periods.

3) Our class party will take place on Wednesday June 29.  A letter went home with your child on Friday with information about our celebration.

4) Our Poetry Folders went home on Friday.

5) Assessment Folders went home on Friday and all work can be kept at home.

6) We will be bringing home various folders/work this week and all can be kept at home.

7) If you find any Library books at home, please return promptly.  

8) Please send your child to school with a hat, water bottle, lots of snacks (we're growing).  If you send sunscreen I will make sure they reapply before lunch time.

9) I will be sending home on Wednesday their indoor shoes and any extra clothing that they have at school.

Our week for June 20- 24

 Hello Families:

We will be engaging in our Jump Rope for Heart on Tuesday June 21 or our rain date of June 22.  Please click on the link below to help support this great cause at Rick Hanse PS.

Please have your child dress appropriately to participate on those days.  Hat, sunscreen and a water bottle too!

3) We will have no more MWW words.  We completed all 25 weeks of our Making Words Work!

Our week for June 13-17

 Hello Families:

We will be talking all about Dad this week!

Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.

1) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle.  There is NO more Library time.  All our books are due back.  Please remember to find and bring back any Library books that you have at your house.

2) Gym is every Day 4 and Day 5.  Please remember to dress appropriately to participate.

3) Our MWW words for Week #25 are:

Grade 1:  come made may part web legs less shell 

Grade 2: trip tree say said hop train number stop stopped one Bonus: Summer ice-cream

4) Our Assessment folders went home today.  Please keep all work returned.

Our week for June 6-10

 Hello Families:

Here are some reminders for our upcoming week.

1) Monday is Day 4 of our cycle.  ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE BACK.  There will be no more book exchanges.  Please refer to our Google classroom for the link to PM books and/or use RAZ kids.  

2) Day 4 and Day 5 are our Gym days.  Please dress appropriately to participate.

3) We have only 2 more weeks of our MWW (Making Words Work) Program.  Our words for Week #24 are:

Grade 1:  down day did set bus truck must cup

Grade 2: why try trying eat mean read sunny fly treat each Bonus: teach teacher

Our MWW worksheet is due back by Friday each week.

4) Please send lots of snacks and water.  We're growing.  If you send your child with sunscreen I will make sure they reapply during the day.

5) Please send a hat it's sunny outside when we play.
